Simply move the half circle wheel from the center to the 2 dots to turn on voice activated recording, play back the recordings on a computer through the USB port with the included USB cable. The pre-loaded software allows one to set the time and date as well as adjust the recording quality and mic sensitivity. It can also be used to recharge your cell phone.
